Who am I?

Hi, I’m Dr. Jackie Fenton, and I help tennis players move better, play longer, and recover faster—without relying on quick fixes or constant pain management.

With over 12 years of experience as a physical therapist and a lifelong connection to tennis, I specialize in helping players prevent injuries, rehab chronic issues, and optimize their physical performance on the court. I grew up playing competitive tennis and understand how frustrating it is to be sidelined by nagging injuries.

In my mobile and virtual practice, I work one-on-one with you to uncover the why behind your pain or injury. My treatments go beyond standard rehab protocols. I assess your movement patterns whether that is serves, groundstrokes, or footwork—so we can correct faulty movement patterns, build tennis-specific strength, and restore your mobility.

Some ways I help my tennis clients:

  • Recover from tennis elbow, rotator cuff injuries, low back pain, knee pain or chronic issues that just won’t go away

  • Improve footwork and agility without risking re-injury

  • Build core strength that actually translates to more power and stability in your game

  • Address imbalances and prevent overuse injuries with customized prehab programs

  • Return to tennis after surgery or long periods off, safely and confidently

As a RYT-500 certified yoga teacher, I also weave yoga-based mobility and breathwork into rehab plans when appropriate, helping players improve recovery, focus, and mental toughness which is critical for long-term success in any sport.

Whether you're returning to tennis after an injury, struggling with recurring pain, or want to elevate your game with a more resilient body, I’m here to help you move with ease and play your best for years to come. Let me help you keep tennis a lifetime sport!
